“Discovery TTB #6 I’m not generally a big fan of smoky teas, but this one is lovely! It has a good amount of smokiness without tasting burnt and the malty flavor of the Assam adds a nice depth to...” Read full tasting note
A unique and rare tea, crafted specially for Vahdam Teas on the lines of the chinese Lapsang Souchong, this is an impeccably smoky tea. Its long, loosely-rolled leaves are selected from the upper elevation estates of Assam which provide that elusive burst of delectable Oakwood smokiness at the outset.
This made-to-order tea is crafted from a handpicked harvest of old chinary bushes which retain the malty character of Assam and yet have that great body and the smoky serenade that lovers of this niche seek.
A wonderful cup with the right amount of caffeine to end the day on, this tea stands out beautifully in the company of light crepes, macaroon, scones and crostini.
This tea is guaranteed to hold a proud place in smoky tea lover’s cupboard.
