Well known throughout Yong Chun, Fujian province of China, this popular oolong is also known as Fo Shou or Yong Chun Buddha’s Hand. This lightly oxidized oolong shows some astringent value, accompanied with very earthy tones, mellowed out with hints of honey, in flavor. The liquor itself yields a mist yellow infusion however, the second time you steep it gives the resemblance of a majestic burnt amber, in color.
You’ll discover the taste change with each steep as the tightly wound leaves unfurl and expand into full flavor. Some enjoy experiencing this tea’s evolution throughout 4-5 sessions of steeping the same leaves.
The amount of caffeine in this tea is higher than that of any green tea, making this a perfect choice in the mornings and relaxing evenings, and because of the amount of other compounds, it improves one’s mood and concentration without any experience of jitters or crash found only in coffee.
Let yourself relax with this tea, while experiencing physical and mental energy to make it through any and every day in the greatest mood.
