This relatively rare, handcrafted offering is produced in An Hui province at Hua Shan Mountain, and was once a tribute tea offered to the Emperor. The leaves are composed of a fine plucking, with a downy bud and two leaves. The liquor is a muted hay color with a buttery aspect. The flavor is subtle yet rich and enticing, with an evanescent tropical fruit note.
