“I swear there was a note on here. Well, this was a Gaoshan that I had to try in my lifetime, and since Amanda raved about it on facebook, I had to get myself a small amount. If it weren’t as rare...” Read full tasting note
Tasting notes: Fresh water, minerality, smooth with a lasting oceanic/aquatic sweetness.
Farm Location: Qi Lai Mountain (Nantou County), Taiwan.
Elevation: 2,020 meters above sea level
Season: Spring 2017
This tea shares many characteristics as Shan Lin Xi, with the exception on the sweet oceanic finish and fine white wine essence and mouth feel. The high elevation causes these leaves to be more tender and delicate, not to mention heavy Qi (“chi”) once fully unfurled. Highly recommended that you take the time to examine the near flawlessness of these leaves and notice how silky smooth they are to the touch!
