Wong One is one of the leading growers in Pinglin and his Spring 2018 Wenshan Bao Zhong shows why. The twisted, single leaf dark green dry tea opens into a still dark green wet leaf. The nose is floral and buttery, the tea liquor is a lucid pale green. There is a soft astringency in the mouth but no overt bitterness. The tea has great length and a pleasing finish that reprises the floral notes on the nose
