As the name suggests, Castleton Muscatel is a very fine and famed Second Flush Darjeeling Tea from Castleton Tea garden. Each year Castleton produces a set of teas which are top notch, one being this tea i.e. Muscatel and the other being Moonlight. Both have their own characteristics. Muscatels are produced from china tea bushes, while Moonlight from clonals. This tea is smaller in leaf size than its clonal varieties. It has an excellent grapy, mucatel notes, full bodied and smooth.
