Origin: Dong Ding area, Lugu, Nantou, Taiwan
Harvest: Winter 2020
Cultivar: Qing Xing (Chin Shin)
We ordered this tea just after first days of winter crop of 2020.
It was very nice but our experience let us think it’s good to wait, because oxidized teas can beautifully change during first months of storage.
After more than year tea evolved into impressive oolong with amazingly rich taste profile. It smell like an orchard during the last days of summer. You will find here aromas of overripe plums and mirabelles lying on the warm dried grass. Also.. honey, roasted grains and beautiful nuances of wild herbs and exotic fruits (mango, passion fruit).
Impressive!
