A classical Assam from the second plucking period from one of the top plantations of the region. For almost 100 years now, excellent teas have been produced here. Wiry colorful leaves, strong and spicy flavor with a rich and malty character. A real delicacy, either drunk pure or with rock sugar and cream. An ‘everyday’ upscale tea that won’t break the bank. From an estate of high regard and value, this vigorously malty Assam is produced from second flush clonal leaves. Balancing the barley notes are waves of honey, fruity ale, and, of course, the classic Assam strength that holds up to a touch of milk.
