Shou Mei is an affordable full-flavored late spring white tea from Fujian Province, China. It’s a cousin to Silver Needle, but whereas Silver Needle is made entirely of new growth buds, Shou Mei is made of more mature leaves. The infusion tastes lightly sweet with a clean mouthfeel and aromatic notes of vanilla, honeysuckle, and a slight earthiness.
