This knobby root has smooth, brown skin with white flesh and is tangy and a bit spicy in flavor. This form of ginger is preferred for tea making, but can be used in any recipe that its ground and candied forms are used in. Ingredients: organic ginger.
Spice Fun Fact: In addition to culinary uses, ginger is used for fragrance in soaps and cosmetics, as well as in laxatives, anti-gas, and antacids.
