Our take on the traditional English Breakfast tea, Pioneer Breakfast is our homage to the Utah pioneers who brought tea and tea culture with them to the Salt Lake valley in the nineteenth century. Pioneer Breakfast is a blend of organic Assam, organic Ceylon, and Lapsang Souchong. Each sip unfolds the full bodied flavor of the Assam and Ceylon and finishes with a light smokiness. It’s like being on the trail with a fine cup of black tea!
Steeping Instructions: 1 teaspoon for 8 oz of water. We prefer water temperature at 185 degrees, or when little bubbles start to form in the kettle. We prefer a steep time of 2 to 3 minutes. Milk and sugar can be added according to your preference.
