This certified organic Dong Ding oolong was hand picked and given a slow medium strength charcoal roast in the traditional This exceptional hand picked tea was grown in the Da Yu Ling region of LiShan, around 2500m above sea level. Although the growing region, being high in the mountains, doesn’t suffer from an abundence of aphids, care has been taken to grow and process this tea according to organic standards. The leaves are healthy and hand processed to give a low oxidised, low roasted gao shan tea of the greener variety. The taste is thick and sweet, with a refined floral aroma. The mouth feel and throat feel are exceptionally smooth and pure with a long lasting hui gan.
