The name Oolong is derived from the Chinese “Wu-Lung” or “Black Dragon.” This Formosa Oolong tea receives careful attention in planting and processing, it is hand picked, partially withered, semi-fermented, and both pan and basket fired. Only beautiful young whole leaves are used, evidenced by the silver tippiness of the fully processed tea. The pale amber liquor has a fruity aroma and piquant peachlike flavor. Fancy Formosa Oolong is a fantastic delicacy, rich, lush, refreshing, and “The Champagne of Tea.”
