Very aromatic with sweet, fruity, muscatel notes, we found it to be smooth but certainly not boring. It pairs well with most meals, and is well balanced and highly likable. Due to its unique characteristics and delicate aroma, Darjeeling teas, grown in altitudes of 6,000 feet, are often called the “Champagne of Tea.” Unlike other tea regions that lie in the lower altitudes, Darjeeling has a very limited harvest period.
