This semi-ball oolong tea is on the “green” side of oolong teas. It produces a cup that is extremely aromatic. The liquor is sweet, floral (think lilacs), and silky with a tiny bit of a mineral note just to make it interesting. It also has a little more body than most “green” oolongs.
The leaves for this lovely oolong were plucked on May 13, 2018 and the tea was made by Mr. Lin Rui Fu of Huqiu town in Anxi County, Fujian, China. This is a Huang Jin Gui style oolong, which are known for producing wonderfully fragrant teas, but sometimes with lighter body.
