Really quite bitter. Would only be best with milk and sugar. lots of sugar.

What a great cup of tea! With a splash of milk, this tea gives a lively, yet smooth cup. It was a hit at a recent cupping.

Grabbed a small sample from the latest tea box. The flavor is pretty classic. Strong and slightly bitter, works well with milk and sugar. It’s a pretty good example of its category. Not special, but solid.

Several years ago, I sampled an Irish Breakfast tea from a (now defunct) Etsy shop called The Great British Tea Store. It turned out to be one of the best breakfast blends I’ve ever tried: rich and malty with an unexpected note of sweet caramel in the aftertaste. While this one isn’t quite up to that standard, I am enjoying it! It has a robust, slightly bitter flavor that is perfect with a generous splash of milk. This one will get you going in the morning!

I like a stronger tea. Usually I will steep a tablespoon of this in 8-12 oz. of water for 4 1/2-5 minutes. Best with cream and sugar.
