“I am incredibly surprised how much I like this tea!! From my prior experience with Xiaguan, I was expecting a fairly bland, potentially bitter tea. Don’t get me wrong, the characteristic smokiness...” Read full tasting note

Description

This Jiaji tuocha from Xiaguan, produced in March 2004, has been stored in Malaysia for 17 years by a passionate private puerh collector. After tasting several storage and production batches of this classic, this one stood out due to the long natural Malaysian storage, which has smoothed out the rough edges and smokiness these tuos can have. This tea has developed a more aged profile, with a rich woody sweetness and warmth.
