From Teaopia

Teaopia`s White Pearls are grown in the Fujian province in China and are protected from too much sun or rain from the beautiful mountain `Tai Mu Shan`. To make this incredible tea, the most desirable part of the tea leaf, the tender bud and first two leaves are lovingly hand rolled into tea pearls. The tea has a wonderfully delicate and tender flavour that all tea lovers are sure to appreciate.

a big fat disappointed MEH to this tea!
It was just not that great… bland and yet extremely fresh, but not delicate at all. As it cooled, it took on a somewhat plasticky taste. It did however have atleast a hint of sweetness to it.
I’ve never met a plain white tea (haha, get it? :P) that I disliked before, but I suppose there is a first time for everything. Also, I’d give it a second chance… since it may have been a bad batch.
That said, it was better than any tea I can get at my other office, but still not a good start to my morning!! —considering my high expectations for a white that is

Oh no! Not “meh”!

Indigobloom

oh indeed, perhaps even two of ’em :P

Angrboda

The Disappointed Meh. The Meh that ambushes you out of nowhere, just when you thought you were having something off the scales awesome and find yourself knocked down instead, the promised awesomeness swiped out from under your nose. You can see it disappearing there in the distance, going “HAHAHAHA!!! Sucker!” as it vanishes.
The Disappointed Meh is characterised by sighing and slight grimacing as the meher desperately tries to salvage to situation.

If I ever get around to writing the Power of Meh, I’ll get you to write the intro Angrboda :)
I’m determined to have an meh-less tea sometime soon! though I’m craving a black and there is no milk in the house *sighs
