This is a pretty good flavoured tea. The fragrance as it steeps really does smell like oatmeal raisin cookies! The base tea is smooth and doesn’t conflict too much with the flavour, in fact I think it might be adding to the raisin notes a bit. Delicious!

Thank you so much to The Cookie Lady for sending this sample in her generous swap package! I’m afraid I may have under-steeped this one, as the color was rather light and the flavor somewhat mild. I will try a longer steep time with the remainder of my sample. I taste the raisin notes as well as a nice mingling of cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. I wish there was a little bit more of a buttery cookie flavor here, but it’s still a delicious dessert tea!

There is something so wonderful about this combination of flavors. A little cinnamony, a little oaty, a little nuttiness, a little raisiny sweetness….I love it so much. And Tealux makes it even easier to love by charging such a reasonable price! It is so right up my alley :) Hot, cold…I’ll take it any way I can get it.
