“I like the idea of seeing what is in other people’s tea cupboards and being able to try something new at random! Staying with friends in Pasadena, who have a big Mason jar full of assorted tea...” Read full tasting note

Description

Saskatoon berries native to Canada, currants, raisins, and blue berries. A sip of Saskatoon Berry pie filled with potential for naughty infusions.

Invigorate your mind and body with our zesty wild berry tea, created to be antioxidant-rich and high in flavonols and polyphenols. These berries are rich in fiber, a good source of calcium, potassium, carotene, magnesium, iron, and vitamin C. Naturally caffeine-free.
Just one teaspoon makes a wonderfully rich, wine-like infusion good enough to eat! You can serve this tea hot, iced, make it into a cocktail, infuse alcohol with it, or take your cue from our many talented ICON Chefs and experiment with inventive recipes for cooking with tea.

“We use some of the teas for smoking our food products and the flavor they pick up is great, especially the combination of Pear and Berry with our Duck Breast.” – ICON Calvin Belknap

Fruit teas (tisanes) are a much healthier alternative to the sugary drinks on the market these days – they are all-natural, caffeine-free, and have no added sweeteners.

Many of our hotel clients use this tisane as a martini – simply add 5 tbsp of tisane to a bottle of vodka, infuse for several days, and decant. Add a splash of vermouth to the berry-infused vodka and enjoy!
