From TeaGschwendner

Vegetable tea – what kind of tea is that supposed to be like? What sounds like “liquid pizza” turns out to be a fruity-fresh surprise. Hot or Cold – simply delicious!

Ingredients: Bits of tomato and green bell pepper, Rooibos, pepper, rosmary. Tip: 18g to 1 liter filtered boiling water. Allow to brew 5 mins.

Well, this one’s not caffeinated so I’m giving it a go. Guess I won’t be adding honey to my “pizza” tea…

Dry, it’s just… dried veggies and herbs. Yep. Smells like tomatoes.

Steeped, well… they recommend 9 g/16 oz mug. That is a lot. I had ~3-4 g, so I am using a 7 oz mug.

My apartment smells like smoked paprika and peppers now.

Yes. What I’m mostly getting is green pepper.

The tea is sweet and savoury. The rosemary and pepper aren’t super prominent – it’s mostly green pepper and sweetness from the tomato.

Weird. Thanks for sharing, Sil.

Reading this does make me want tomato soup, I’ll admit.

This sounds like the strangest tea ever! I’m intrigued.

Worth a try, but don’t order 100g online!

I picked up this sample when i was in chicago because savoury teas have always interested me, but not enough to buy a full 25 or 50g. This one smells like pizza…tastes like…soup? it’s not a bad taste, but i think i’m struggling a little with it because it’s like watered down soup. tastey soup, but watery. hmmm

LOL This is the sort of thing I find interesting once, and then never want to drink again. ;-)

OMGsrsly

Hahaha. Is it like the Numi veg teas?
