Osmanthus Oolong Tea
Osmanthus Oolong Tea is produced by scenting Oolong tea with fresh Osmanthus flowers. Combining the sweet osmanthus fragrance with the fruity Oolong tea is a marvelous invention. The recipe of Osmanthus Oolong tea has been around for a long time. Osmanthus Oolong tea is also known as Orchid Oolong.

Brewing Guide:
We recommend using purple clay or porcelain tea ware. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Fill the teapot 2 grams (1-2 teaspoons) tea leaves for every 225ml of water. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 95°c (203°F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time and temperature for subsequent brewing.

This tea smells like perfume, and for good reason; it tastes like it, too. The details say that this oolong has yellow osmanthus buds in it as well, but there were none in the tea I received. 195/3 min. Ooh. I can smell the floral perfume from here. When I taste it, it is so perfumed that it actually pricks my tongue. I cannot taste the oolong tea at all. The scent of the tea has permeated all of my senses. At least I can no longer smell the pancakes I burned this morning.
I love Osmanthus! I won’t order this one though :(

Oh, customs fiddling. :/ I got an order shipped from China once containing some $70 worth and on the customs form it said ‘$10 – Card’. I’m surprised the danish customs authorities didn’t open it. They must have been able to tell that a box doesn’t contain only a card. It did make me feel a bit iffy, though, and it took a while before I felt comfortable about shopping there again. They haven’t done it since, so I’m back to business as usual.
It seems to me to be just too shady. I wish that customs would have opened it. Now, I’m not as interested in trying the two other teas I ordered from them.
