The long wait for fresh Darjeeling Tea of the new season is over! With this tea the Rohini tea estate has created a marvel. You would not expect from the appearance of the leaf, which is most satisfactory, that this tea would be in a class of its own. This exotic first flush provides classic Darjeeling first flush (spring) character in a confident package. It makes a sweet cup with soft astringency and very delicate floral fruity note. It is further accentuated by a pleasant fresh vegetal taste that leads to a smooth finish with mild personality. The combination of these dissimilar qualities makes for a very appealing, even poetic, complexity that will turn teatime into an “event!”
