Our Ali Bear is of the popular variety Jin Xuan and thrives at an altitude of 1.500m above sea level on the foggy Ali Shan mountainside. You can expect a pleasing floral note with a slight fruity sweetness and a substantial creamy mouth-feel. Also known as Milk Oolong this Jin Xuan from Ali Shan has a very subtle and delicate natural milky flavour. So elegant and so delightful!

Sipdown (613)!

I had an awkward amount of this tea left, so this was a slightly weak Western style mug. The tea tasted pretty nice, even it it was underleafed – the creamy and floral notes that you would really expect from a Jin Xuan, just more delicate than usual. Also a hint of underripe, green melons.
