One could say that China is the land where tea was born. It’s no surprise, that the tea traditions in China are probably the oldest in the world. The provinces of so called “Middle Kingdom” produce marvelous black teas – you’ll find that these are especially mild – along with oolong and jasmine teas. The extraordinary diversity and quality of Chinese teas is overwhelming.
This particular one is harvested at the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. At the oldest tea-growing area this tea is picked during the best harvest time (2nd flush). Only buds and the finest leaves are used for this tea.
