This single estate Ceylon tea is from the Rilagala Estate in the Uva region of Sri Lanka. Rilagala, which means ‘Monkey Rock’ gained its name from the colossal rock which towers over the estate, and the monkeys from the surrounding forest who are often seen amongst the tea bushes. The tea estate is famous for its long wiry leaf and aromatic flavor.
Imperial Ceylon has a beautiful black pine needle-shaped leaf with a full aromatic taste. Best enjoyed without milk.
