Grown in the foothills of the Himalayan range at the famous Risheehat estate, this second flush Darjeeling offers a rich flavour profile and nutty, grapey aroma of a fine Darjeeling. The liquor is a beautiful amber colour and the top flavour note is earthy, with a hint of “nuttiness” and then finishes with the grapey “muscatel” and honey notes. This tea does best with a 3-5 minute steeping. It’s strong enough to take milk and/or sugar, but some of the grapey/honey finish notes do fade.
