Originally black teas in China were grown near the coast because they were cultivated for export. In 1938 with the Japanese invasion and occupation of the East Coast the cultivation of tea moved to Western China because of ease of trade through India and so began the history of Yunnan black tea.

Flavour:Sweet, smooth, woody, honey, molasses notes. A hint of fennel on the returning flavour. The sensation of this tea runs around your mouth.
