From T2

One of the all-time classic herbal tisanes. Carefully selected for their flavour and aroma, high-grade plump Egyptian chamomile blossoms provide an intensely sweet, honey-like aroma and a refined and sublime flavour. Refreshing and calming, soothing and sweetly seductive, chamomile is one of the most widely-drunk herbal infusions, with very good reason.

Brew:
1 teaspoon per 200mls, brew 2-3 minutes in water at 100 degrees Celsius.

Serve:
As is. Serve iced in summer as a cooling tonic.

Flavour:
Chamomile

Properties:
Relaxing

Ingredients:
Whole chamomile flowers

Enjoy:
A classic evening infusion to be slowly sipped before bed. Soothing and calming, can be served after dinner or during the day for a little time out.

This isn’t the best chamomile I’ve had, but it isn’t outstanding either. Some hot hay and lemon notes, a bit fruity. The other reviewers are correct in saying this pastes a lot like pollen. Luckily, it does not have the vegetal qualities of fresh chamomile.

I find this an average chamomile tea – it does the job but is not spectacular. Have tried others that seem nicer.

I have tried to experience a wider range of teas and Chamomile was my first try at herbal teas. I really didn’t enjoy the taste, it just seemed like I was drinking pollen.
