Produced in the Chinese Fujian province, this Silver Needle tea consists of the most tender leaves imaginable: single buds that are plucked right after they fully develop, but before they have time to open. The beautifully shaped buds of equal length are covered with white down. When infused, they produce a pale yellow liquor with an extraordinary fresh, sweet fragrance. A delicate and subtle treat for quiet moments and a wonderful Summer Tea when chilled.
This very special tea deserves a careful preparation. We suggest you brew it in a guywan or in a Yixing teapot dedicated exclusively to Silver Needle tea.
