From Sonnentor

Christmassy, magical. Cinnamon and cloves flavours make this tea an indispensable companion for the Christmas season. It is a great tea for winter and can be used in punch for young and old. This tea can be enjoyed with venison and should also be tried with fruit flans. To a delightful winter!

SONNENTOR ADVENT DAY 20

This is the first one that really turned red! I have been leaving the bag in on all the herbal blends.

Even so, it is not too tart for me and I am glad this is the first tisane in this advent that really has this profile. I get mostly hibiscus and very little spice, to be honest. It is an easy bedtime cup but nothing to write home about – if you have had a mild hibiscus tea, you can imagine this one.

I wrote it is mostly herbal, didn’t I?

Well, I guess that for Winter Night there is no better day than today, a winter solstice day. I really realised it was long time dark ouside today in the morning.

Anyway to the tea; I pretty much agree with note by ashmanra year ago. It is pretty much hibiscus forward, a little tart. I also notice cloves again, and some mishmash of citruses. One would say that it tastes very simillar to Spicy Christmas I had a few hours back, but with different base.

Not bad, but nothing to write home about.
