Rooibos is technically not a tea, but an infusion. It is made from the Aspalathus Linearis plant, within the fabaceae family. This infusion contains no caffeine, and can brew quite strong. In South Africa where Rooibos is very popular, it is common to add milk and sugar to the drink, a trend that has not quite caught on yet in the rest of the world. This malted honey-like-brew has a delicious sweetness to it that makes it perfect for after a meal.
