I like this tea. It is naturally sweet all and just as the description is really soothing hot but it makes a great iced tea. I have to admit that for some reason as an iced tea it may seem a bit more perfumy than when hot. Still a pretty good choice and inexpensive.
I bought this tea last summer when I visited the Silk Road store in Victoria, BC. They had this tea brewed as a chilled tea and the sample was most welcome on the hot August afternoon! Ever since this has been one of my go-to iced teas. It’s got a perfect natural sweetness so no sugar is needed!

Preparation: Brewed western style in a ceramic infuser mug.
First steeping: 3 minutes at 212 degrees.
The hot infusion smells wonderfully of lychee with a delicate undertone of grapes and roses. White hot, the liquor has a dominate essence of lychee and a suggestion of sugary rose. As the cup cools, notes of hibiscus mingle with the lychee and the floral undertone is less pronounced. This tea lingers pleasantly on the palate and I think it would be wonderful chilled.
Flavors: Grapes, Lychee, Rose
Stale and sour. Can’t give a better description because after two sips I threw it out. If you like black tea their Golden Monkey would be a far better choice…albeit at over twice the price…but worth it! Not my cup so I’m not going to give it a number. I have the rest of this 1/4 lb and 1/4 lb Dragon Eyes which I find tastes the same. If anyone wants either of these send me a pm or email and I will ship them to you for free. If no one wants them I’ll dispose of them in my garden like I do with my spent tea leaves.
