“I like this tea, although it’s fairly mild. It has a little bit of the juicy floral flavor I like the best in oolongs of this type, without getting bitter or astringent. It has a lovely sweetness...” Read full tasting note

Description

Perhaps our sweetest tasting Oolong! Grown at the highest elevations of the Phoenix Mountains in the Feng Huang area of Guangdong Province, once harvested, the leaves are artistically shaped by a tea master we know well, then wood charcoal fired in wicker baskets to create a distinctive red-green leaf with a fruity and roasty aroma. This small, terraced tea farm harvests from Oolong bushes and trees that are, in cases, hundreds of years old. Its sweetness is nuanced with a long, pleasant aftertaste. Offers multiple steeps. Brew in water temperature 195-205 degrees F for 2 minutes.
