Likely one of the best dark oolongs we have ever tasted, and a consistent best-seller, this oolong is cultivated from the Wuyi Mountains in Nanping Prefecture. The Wuyi Mountains have been recognized by UNESCO as a site of incredible and unique biological diversity, and has been defined as a zone of conservation. Wuyi Oolong is grown in this region, and is harvested only in very small quantities so as to not tire the plants. As this particular style of oolong production is not unique to this region, the remarkably chocolatey and earthy fragrance, and the complex flavour profile, is entirely due to the climate and soil conditions of the Wuyi Mountains. No other dark oolong has this distinct flavour profile. Do not miss this one!
