Skinny B Tea named this to bring attention to the magnificent
Oolongs of Taiwan. This is a lovely black/green Oolong shipped to me and dressed with a bit of lemongrass & ginger. The taste on the tongue is delicious and varies as it nestles in the teapot awaiting pour two, and perhaps three. There is never a doubt I will get a minimum of two beautiful cups of this smooth, silky tea. I do not use a heavy boil, but in between about 190 degrees for water temperature.
Oolongs, I find are one, if not the best tea to use to roast a chicken, cornish hens, turkey or duck.
The juice produced by using this tea, is first noticed when you lift the lid of your roasting pan and a wonderful aroma envelops you. From this point on it just gets better.
Tea’s are wonderful, hot, cold, and for cooking.
Yet, I personally find some more exceptional than others – and for me it is an Oolong.
Try this tea for baking – a chocolate mousse and bakes into a cobbler to enhance the flavor of the fruit. Peach is one of our family’s favourite.
Tea and wine are similar in where they are grown, how, by the Tea Master who controls the garden etc. Don’t wait try it now.
As mentioned on Dr. Oz he considers Oolong one of the super foods or belly busters because it does increase your resting metabolism, enjoy Skinny B, we can hardly keep it in stock.
Please enjoy the flavors of our teas, and those of other teas found nestled in this wonderful site. The art of having tea once a day at four is a great way to take a long required break which will spirit you on happily to finish up your afternoon of work and bring your day to a great close as you head home to your family.
