I had this one last night right before bed time. I really like this one. totally deserves a spot in the cupboard. Soon I’m thinking I shall have to upgrade to a tea room instead of a tea cupboard. ;)

Mint is decently strong as it’s the first thing I notice. I feel it’s a completely natural flavoring and I see quite a bit of mint in the dry leaf. The spices (cinnamon, cardamom and clove) chase the mint and are pretty well balanced. The ginger and orange peel seem to be a bit more mild than the other three spices but not by much. The tea is a bit hidden here. It really just adds a bit of depth to the over all flavor.

I love this tea! The mint and spearmint are highlighted flavors, thus making Holiday Cheer not yet another clove/cinnamon clone. There is, of course, clove, cardamon, ginger, and orange which are artfully blended with the two mints to create a beautiful rhapsody of spicy, minty, good cheer.

This particular tea feels as if one is standing next to an old-fashioned orange pierced with cloves upon which candy canes are pendant. The taste and aroma are warmly enveloping and not at all intrusive. If you like mint blends, you will love this.

I highly recommend SerendipiTea for speedy delivery, an artistic and pleasing web page, and superior mixes.

a solid blend, a calming tea, very nice for a cold winter bedtime tea. the peppermint is the predominant flavor. the chai spices are so subtle that you can’t pick them out in particular (how do you hide cinnamon? ginger? cardamom?), but you can tell there’s something soothing behind the peppermint. while it is a tea that i would enjoy if you handed it to me in the right setting, it is not one that is particularly memorable nor one i would go out of my way to drink. if i had one mug of this a year, around christmas time, i’d be good with that. so there you go.
