This herbal tea is a take on a classic cold & flu formula – but instead made with bioregional herbs found here in Southern Appalachia. Mountain Magic Winter Care is a staple for the whole family in this season. Made with monarda grown in our garden this summer; elderflowers we wildcrafted in May 2019; and goldenrod harvested in October – this blend was a year in the making and a formula I’m never without! It helps to warm the body up and support the body’s ability to stay well all winter long. Mountain Magic Winter Care can be drunk by both adults and kids for acute situations or taken as a gentle herbal tea for runny noses, winter stagnation, and more.
To Use: Add 2 tsp to 8 oz of hot water and steep for 15-30 minutes covered. Strain, sweeten with honey, and enjoy warm.
