From Rare Tea Company

A rare English peppermint grown on the private botanical garden of the Tregothnan Estate. This truly remarkable and unique peppermint is a wonderful end to a meal.

This peppermint is grown in Cornwall on the Tregothnan estate which has remained in the same family since 1335. It is one of the very last English mints in production. Cheaper, industrial imports have dominated the market but they are not a patch on the flavour. Head gardener Jonathon Jones has selected cultivars that perform best in their unique Cornish microclimate.

Tasting Notes
Counter-intuitively, the menthol oils infuse more easily from the dried leaf, giving a brighter, cleaner flavour than fresh mint.

Needed something. Didn’t want a drinky drink. Not a big fan of peppermint tea but wanted to see what this had to offer. This is very refreshing. Slightly woody and slightly creamy. Smooth mouth feel. It is 1 degree outside. I hate this weather.
