The aroma is mainly licorice with a bit of nettle and fennel.
The same applies to taste, though the base sencha is discernible in the background.
Too bad that matcha is almost non-perceptible. If I hadn’t read about it on the packaging, I wouldn’t have detected it. That’s why the rating drops down.

Method: 8 oz boiling water steeped for at least 30 minutes.(I recommend 15+)

I was unsure about this tea as I abhor lemongrass. I really enjoyed it though. I believe it is because of the licorice root and the fact that the lemon grass isn’t overpowering.
Flavors: Sweetness from the licorice, fresh lemon towards the end of the sip.
Green tea and Matcha are nowhere to be found. Tastes like a herbal tea, is very similar to Traditional Medicinal’s Throat Coat tea taste wise.
