We tried to bring in some very interesting teas for our clients.
This brick is made by using Yue Guang Bai materials harvested in Spring 2014 from Jinggu. Yue Guang Bai (literally Moonlight White) tea, is something which does not fall into any tea category, due to its special processing technique. I would place it into the Oolong category, some people would call it a white tea.
After picking the fresh leaves; the tea leaves are withered in the night (under the moonlight, so it got its name); that causes some interior oxidation by the interior enzymes. The tea broth color is oily orange skin with high clarity.
You can taste the difference now and in the future when the tea is aged.
