From Praise Tea Company

This enchanting oolong is softly flavored by the wonderful union of red aronia berries, bright mango cubes, passion fruit and dark red rose petals. A royal treat for even the finest of palettes.

Origin: Formosa (Taiwan)

Ingredients: Formosa Oolong, Mango, Aronia Berries, Rose Petals

Steeping Guidelines:
Water: 176°- 194°F | Use 1 Tsp per 6 ounce cup | Infusion Time: 2 – 3 minutes

Infusion tips:
Use COLD filtered or spring water, whenever possible
Don’t over boil water, Don’t over steep tea
Remove leaves after recommended time (adjust to taste)
*Vary time according to taste, & remember that steeping tea leaves beyond 3 minutes does not contribute to flavor, only bitterness.
If you want a stronger taste, use more tea leaves instead of steeping for a longer time

My back is still sore and I am a little flighty from the two Flexiril I took last night. Youngest made a pot of this lovely oolong for me so I could enjoy it on my heating pad!

This is such a good tea, and I am still drinking that sample from SimplyJenW. it was a BIG sample. Thank you!

The aroma is fruity leaning toward a minty scent rather than a candied scent. It is described as softly flavored, and it is. There is enough flavoring, but it does not interfere with your tasting the oolong base. Very good!

DRY – this looks like a woodsier Oolong mix. The aroma is mostly oolong and mango. I can tell there is a little something else fruity-wise too but it’s not really identifiable as berries or passionfruit per say.

Once infused…the liquor is pretty dark for an oolong…much like a medium-brown colored black tea. It smells slightly fruity and woodsy…but oh-so-slight!

The taste is DARN GOOD. It’s a smoother oolong taste with hints of sweeter-wood but the fruit notes pair up beside the oolong very well. All of the fruit ingredients mesh well with each other and no one ingredient really barges in front of the others.

The rose hides out in the background and if I didn’t take the time to really notice it I probably would miss it.

There is just something about this that says “I’m YOUR tea…treat me well…and I will treat YOU well.” And you know what…it looks like we are on the same page!

Best oolong ever (for flavored!) I can totally see myself drinking this often especially in the summer months. It is fruity and refreshing. Must try it iced at some point. Thank you Dinosara for an awesome HoppiTEA Swap treat!

The fruit flavors are paired with a darker oolong base. You don’t really get any vegetal flavors with this one (as I am assuming that is what they are called with a greener oolong…yes, the oolong noob that I am.) I can definitely tast the mango and something other berry…kind of between a raspberry and a cranberry. Love it!
