Description

Gopaldhara China Muscatel is an autumn flush Darjeeling made from tea bushes that are over 130 years old. It is a very high grade full leaf tea, with a high level of oxidation that produces a deep dark orange liquour and a full flavour.

The bushes are Chinese cultivars that have been planted in Darjeeling, resulting in an interesting combination of tea traditions, with a smooth, syrupy mouthfeel and a fascinating caramel and muscatel flavour.
