Usually made into oolongs, dancongs are traditionally made & drank by the Teochew people, and loved for their naturally occurring fragrance and sweetness. The Honey Orchids are undoubtably the all time favourite type! Wudong, being the highest tea growing region in Phoenix Mountains at about 1400masl, naturally has the best teas! This batch from 136 year old tress is lighter oxidized, coaxing out lychee sweetness with powdery floral notes and just a slight hint of minerals, testament to the rich rocky terrior of Phoenix Mountains.
