“For $13NZD for 75g, I’d say this is a pretty average cup of tea. The colour of the brewed liquid is a pretty standard yellow-green. Not much more to say about it. The leaves themselves are not...” Read full tasting note
According to the Chinese on the back, this TieGuanYin is from Fujian, Anxi County. It’s a ‘Grade 1’ tea (there is also mention of ‘top grade’, I’m not sure whether the grading system ascends or descends – some clarification would be appreciated), but I think this may be a marketing term. Something about lots of rainfall and tasting as good as it smells and looks…
The brewing method says to take 7~10g and steep with 100 degree Celsius water for 1~2 Minutes.
It says you can brew these leaves 8~10 Times.
It has a very fresh grassy taste to it, without an over-bitterness.
