One of the things you can control when making loose leaf tea is the amount of dry leaf you use. Each tea has a range in which it tastes best. For a lighter taste, you want to use the minimal amount of tea possible, but still enough to getting an optimal flavor. For a stronger taste, you should use slightly more leaf, but not so much that the tea becomes bitter. We like this range method as it better accounts for different personal preferences.
