Very good fragrance. This tea is from my uncle who produced the gold medal rou gui last year. The roast is towards the light side. The name “Gao Shan” means high mountain, as this garden is located at a higher altitude than most of Wuyishan. The garden is weeded with hand tools and pests are controlled with sticky traps and non-chemical means.
Tasted on 7/14/2019, the roast is fresh and leaves a bit of a bitter taste, mixed with the sweet and cooling effect of the tea.
