Shi Ru, also known as Stone Milk, is an interesting variety known for its creamy and smooth fragrance. The cultivar is said to originate in Hui Yuan Keng. This year is much like the last; the tea has an instant presence in the mouth and enticing fragrance. I find that slightly shorter steeps suit this tea best.
