ORIGIN: Bada Shan, Yunnan, China
GPS: 22ºN 100ºE
TASTING NOTES: Wildflowers | Stone Fruit | Honey
We are thrilled with this 2019 harvest; the old trees yielded a tea that feels mellow and well rounded; the liquor is golden and you will probably extract a mind-boggling number of steeps (for a white tea) from these leaves.
Handcrafting Method
Slow drying under the moonlight; the downy side resists oxidization and remains white, whereas the smooth side is exposed to oxygen and darkens.
About The Growers
Gao Feng and Fan Xiuli are tea producers and ambassadors of Chinese culture (tea, painting, music…). Originally from Northeast China, they currently live and work in Menghai.
