“This was a lovely tea with a light, sweet jasmine aroma and taste. No off notes or any clashing flavors. Just the pure essence of the jasmine flower comes through. I steeped it grandpa style,...” Read full tasting note

Description

There are NO artificial flavors or chemicals added to this tea! It has been scented with fresh, organically grown Jasmine flowers and the ‘milk’ in the name comes from the oolong cultivar, Jinxuan(Milk) Oolong. If you have any other questions please let us know!*

We are happy to be able to finally add a Jasmine tea to our lineup! It has taken a while due to the simple fact that growing organic Jasmine Flower Bushes is apparently very, very difficult. In fact, this source is the ONLY one we could find in Taiwan!

Most of us have memories of Jasmine tea. Perhaps in tea bags, or maybe in the Chinese restaurants of our youth but they always seemed a little ‘off’. This tea is the real thing. A quality milk oolong scented with fresh, organic Jasmine flowers, after trying this tea you will truly know what ‘Jasmine Tea’ should taste like!

Produced in a similar way to our popular Pomelo Fragrance Oolong, the tea has no actual Jasmine Flower petals in it at all. The deep and full floral notes mix perfectly with the subtle buttery notes of the milk oolong giving this tea a flavor both familiar and yet strikingly better than other, more mass produced Jasmine Teas. Perfect for people new to high quality teas, or those with a preference for floral notes, this tea is a powerful reminder of what ‘natural’ tea should be like.

If there was ever a tea to give to someone used to ‘blended’ teas you wanted to impress, this is it!

While brewing this tea it is best to treat this tea like a green tea, with longer, cooler water steeps. If the water is too hot it can burn off the gorgeous perfume like Jasmine floral notes that have been infused into this amazing tea.
